A contemporary take on furniture dating back to 15th century India and China, prevalent in its imitation form in Victorian times. It combines an exotic appeal with a modern bohemian aesthetic. The side tables are often bought in pairs for either side of a bed or sofa. For a complete complimentary aesthetic, add a bamboo lamp base too.

The bamboo components are hand-turned on a traditional wood lathe, simultaneously spinning and shaping. Through careful use of a chisel, the bamboo stems and nodes are formed, with a subtle irregularity. Each piece is unique and celebrates the individual grain patterns found in the timber.
